- Dr. Woll was patient and clear with his instructions before and after my surgery. If only my left foot would cooperate and my toes would move the way they should. My arthritis sure isn’t helping the situation any.

- Dr Woll is an extremly experienced surgeon who is respected in the community and takes time to listen to your questions. He has done several surgeries on my foot. My only issue is that he and his staff do not give you much details that I think would have been important prior to surgery (transparency). Examples: long range healing, expected outcomes, possible negative reprocussions after surgery or what supplies to have at home post-surgery. I visited him at least 4 times prior to surgery to ask questions. One cannot know what always to ask. It would have been helpful if he had volunteered more information on negative effects of the type of surgery I had. Otherwise, he did a careful and complete surgery and paid attention post surgery to xrays and examinations. I would recommend to him that he and his staff pay more attention to providing more details on "outcomes" before a pateint makes that BIG DECISION to go under the knife.

- I saw Dr Woll for issues with my ankle from a car accident 28 yrs ago. Last time I saw him was 15 yrs ago. I live 2.5 hrs away and wouldn't think of seeing any foot and ankle specialist closer to home. Dr Woll is such a knowledgeable Dr and treats his patients like he would his family. - Amazing doctor! I broke my fibula and ankle beginning of March. Two days after accident, I saw him in clinic, with surgery next day. I was weight bearing in a month, walking in 2. I’m 4 months out and doing great. I can’t thank him enough! He listens to concerns, doesn't condescend, patronize, or rush, & treats you like a patient, not a chart. I’ve had a lot of experience with specialists & ortho’s. Dr. Woll is among the best!

- I am forever grateful to Dr. Woll who helped me continue dancing after a severe ankle injury many years ago. The injury was so bad another orthopedist told me dancing was out of the question if I wanted to walk the rest of my life. Dr. Woll gave me conservative non-invasive treatments and encouraged me to continue dancing. He understands my passion for competitive dancing and has given me all the support he could as a doctor. - I was recommended to Dr. Woll by a friend and former patient who highly regarded him as a very skilled and experienced surgeon and I do as well. My condition (heel spur) was explained to me along with the surgery and recovery . I had excellent care from the hospital nursing staff as well. Hope he can do my other foot when needed.

- I contacted Dr. Woll several years ago for advice on two painful bone spurs on the top of my left foot and a bunion on my left foot. He explained the type of surgical treatment but suggested that I wait to see it is was going to progress. It did and now that I have had the surgery I understand why. The recovery time for this type of surgery is 3 months and not easy. He did an excellent job on the foot. In a cast for 4 weeks, a boot for 3 weeks and then started PT. Started riding my bike in 8 weeks. The surgery is complicated but my healing had gone well. The biggest problem is getting the muscles, tendons, and nerves working again. The PT is important and just moving your body. I highly recommend Dr. Woll.

- I have had 2 foot and 1 lower leg surgery with Dr. Woll. Although my feet are quite a challenge (and I am currently still in recovery from my last foot surgery), everything has gone well and I have always been treated with courtesy and respect by Dr. Woll and the staff. I trust his judgement and his skill as a surgeon. My only complaint was that after rupturing a major tendon in my lower leg, I was not able to get in to see him quickly. That is why that category is rated as "fair".

- I had suffered with foot pain for years and finally decided that I needed to do something. Dr Woll was recommended to me. After my right foot surgery was completed and was pain free I realized that my left foot also hurt. So I had surgery on that one also. I am now pain free in both feet and enjoy hiking again!

- Dr Woll is an excellent doctor. I met with him several years earlier to assess a damaged left foot caused by running. The pain at the time was not excessive and he suggested not doing surgery at that time. After about 8 years the pain from the bone spurs had progressed and I returned for an evaluation and recommendation. He took X-rays, assessed the problem and surgical solution. His knowledge and expertise was clear. I highly recommend him for individuals suffering with serious foot injuries and needing orthopedic surgeries.

- On May 20th I fell on my ankle and shattered it. I was in the er until 5am. They told me to make an appt with rebound. I had never heard about Dr. Woll, but that is who I was set to see. I went into the appt very concerned and stressed. After speaking to Dr.Woll I looked at my husband and felt very relieved. - I fell and broke my foot very badly. Dr. Woll, saw me in the ER. I was not a Pt. of his prior to my fall. I can only say I was truly blessed in getting Dr. Woll under those circumstances. I could not have researched out a better doctor or surgeon. He operated on me and did an excellent job with the surgery and keeping me advised of my progress as we went along. I would recommend him to anyone needing work done to their feet and leg. He is one of the best Doctors I have seen in many years.
