- I am beyond grateful to have found Rebound and Dr. Evan Ellis. I recently moved from out of state and unfortunately tore my quadriceps tendon at the knee cap. Having experienced the same injury to my opposite knee I knew what I was in for. However being in a new area I had no experience with any surgeons locally. A quick outreach to friends and family pointed me to Dr. Ellis. Their personal referrals and experience told me what I needed to know and his online feedback was no different… unfortunately he was 4 hours away. Once aware, Dr. Ellis made it a point to see me as quickly as possible and in our first interaction I knew with certainty I had come to the right surgeon. Experience and career aside, his demeanor and caring nature are as sincere as his desire to see his patients through to recovery. Dr. Ellis scheduled me for surgery immediately and from here his staff coordinated everything with care, detail and patience. Every person I spoke with at Rebound has been exceptional. Their staff is kind, empathetic and clearly love where they work and what they do. Surgery was no different, they partner with a surgical center that matches their staff in both personal care and expertise. From the moment I walked in everything was well coordinated and handled with care. The surgical staff and Dr. Ellis made my experience comfortable and calm through their confidence, attention to detail and interpersonal touch. Surgery went smoothly and my wife was updated regularly as she waited. When it was done and I was through recovery I was taken out to my vehicle and placed inside with the same care and kindness. Having never met a single person prior and no established relationship Dr. Ellis and his team at rebound made me feel at home and treated me like family. - I am day of surgery, 10 hours post op right now. Pain level has not been above a 2, PT four hours after surgery was very good and pain level more like a 1 when finished. Using walker smoothly at home, enjoying fresh air on porch while elevating and icing. I know I am under the influence of anesthesia and pain killer shot during surgery. I know pain level will increase during next 48-54 hours but darn this is cool. During PT session discussed above I had 110 degrees flexion. Dr. Ellis and his entire Rebound team are truly world class in my opinion and highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of treatment. I cannot wait to get the fellow right knee done as well.

- Without going into great and unnecessary detail, Dr. Ellis and his EXCEPTIONAL care team did all that I could ask for to treat my worn out knee joint. We used a cortisone therapy for several years knowing it was only a temporary fix. It worked ( for 2-3 years ) it was all I needed but after 2 yrs, it simply stopped working and I had no choice but to bite the bullet and get my knee replaced. I was PETRIFIED !!!!!!!!! Three hours after the surgery, I was walking the halls of the hospital. Within a few days, I was climbing stairs. Ditched my crutches in three days and went to a rolling walker for about a week, then a cane for another week or two and then nothing. Today, a year and a half later, Like EVERYONE told me " you'll kick yourself for not getting it done sooner and avoiding all the pains and discomforts of "bone on bone" in your knee joint. I walk without any limp AT ALL. I give him and his team a flat out A++++. They are the team to go to for joint issues !

- I was initially apprehensive seeing a new Dr and going to Rose Quarter at rush hour time - Yet I was pleasantly surprised at my entire visit! There were plenty of signs where to park and for the clinic. The staff was all very courteous and very personable. The intake assistant (who took me back - Lisa?), did an excellent job of reading my initial paperwork and knew my concerns. The X-ray tech was very kind and patient in getting me in just the right positions. Dr. Ellis was very attentive and personable. He listened to all my concerns and not once discounted or belittled any knowledge I had attained from “Dr Google”. He was concise in explaining what he thought and what the next steps should be. Despite being quite busy multitasking (like the whole staff), Taylor was quite patient in getting me scheduled onward. - First impression: FIRST CLASS First time patient, didn't know what to expect -- but the entire registration process was smooth, the directions to the clinic were clear (I really was apprehensive about driving into the parking garage in that snarl of streets and bridges and trolley tracks around the Moda Center) and it turned out to be effortless. Receptionist helpful, friendly, discreet. Medical assistant and X-ray tech efficient, professional, friendly. Dr. Ellis immediately inspired confidence, After an actual physical exam, we reviewed the X-rays, discussed his findings and laid out all the options -- in a thoroughly comprehensible and professional manner. Finally, a very friendly and competent Physician's Assistant performed a procedure which immediately made me feel better --and now, 2 days later, I am still feeling better. - Dr Ellis did a total knee replacement on my right knee on July 20, 2020. He met with me several times before the surgery, and authorized physical therapy before the surgery to help get me ready. He explained the procedure very clearly. The surgery went very well and I met with him several times after surgery, and then monthly 3 times after surgery. I had no complications, and my physical therapist was extremely pleased with my post-surgical progress; visible progress from one week to the next. The scar healed very nicely, with no puckering. Leg extension to 0 degrees; compression to 111 degrees at my last measurement. I’m extremely pleased with the results, and the care Dr Ellis took to make sure my experience was the least traumatic as possible. His “bedside manner” was the best I’ve ever experienced. I will recommend him to others with no hesitation. He’s the best. I know he will take good care of me when the other knee requires replacement. Thank you SO much!

- Dr Ellis has performed two knee replacement surgeries on me and I am totally satisfied with the results. He is always concerned and treats everyone with respect. Four weeks after mt last knee surgery, I slipped and knocked open my knee, bleeding extensively. Went in to REBOUND and the doctor on duty sent a picture to Dr Ellis, who immediately called in and told us he was coming to take care of the surgery. Very happy with the results, his rapid response and concern. Couldn't ask for a better knee surgeon.

- I went in with a locked shoulder and I was ready for it to be cut off. I went a year in pain before I found Dr.Ellis. I knew it was worse than what a P.T. had told me. Dr.Ellis sent me for an MRI and found the problem, recommended surgery and man when I woke up, I felt like I had a new arm. I didn't take but half the pain meds. P.T. has been a breeze. Now for my lower back....

- Dr. Ellis and the staff at Rebound are excellent, personable and professional. I was in extreme pain all summer from a knee injury. At first I didn’t realize the injury wouldn’t heal itself but when I did, I made an appointment with a orthopedic group recommended to me nearby. However I was put on hold for nearly 2 months. Being proactive I did some research and found Rebound and Dr. Ellis. He was able to get me in the following week. I had all my pre-op work and the surgery was completed weeks before my previously scheduled first visit at the other place. It been about 3 months now and although I’m not completely back to normal I see normal on the horizon. To be honest with you I don’t want to see Dr. Ellis again unless it’s over a craft beer at a favorite pub ;) But if I have another orthopedic issue I will not hesitate to call for him. - I injured myself while I was deployed overseas and I didn’t think anything of my shoulder. I came home and it began to hurt so I filed a claim. Only thought it was something small. The DAV suggested I see a specialist and I Lund Rebound. Dr Ellis did some movements on my shoulder and found out I probably dislocated my shoulder and was torn inside. Had I not gone here I wouldn’t know. We are on right path to getting my injury taken care of. Highly recommend this place for their knowledge and service

- I was in a hiking accident and tore my meniscus. I did some research online and chose to follow up my MRI by seeing Dr. Evan Ellis. I wasn’t thrilled about going to see a surgeon for my knee but he seemed to have the qualifications I was looking for. My experience wasn’t what I expected. The facility wasn’t cold and unwelcoming but rather soothing and comfortable. The staff were friendly. - Just had my first visit with Rebound for my knee and for my first time being there I felt very comfortable with Dr. Ellis. At first I was apprehensive because the front desk check in felt a bit stressed....however there were quite a few people trying to check in and a full waiting room so maybe it was just one of those days and I was already a bit anxious not knowing what to expect or how to answer some of the questions due to the fact this was my first workers comp claim situation...after getting thru all that and back into the exam room it started to feel more comfortable. - Had my medial patellofemoral ligament replaced by Dr. Ellis a few years ago. My patella used to disclocate and was starting to cause damage while doing so (chipping off bone and cartilage). I went to multiple orthopedic surgeons all over the country through the years who suggested surgeries that were very invasive and had very long recovery times. Dr. Ellis knew exactly what needed to be done in the least invasive way possible. The surgery recovery itself was excruciating, as was explained and expected with this procedure. In the end it was all worth it as my quality of life has completely changed for the better. I can actually look up and enjoy my surroundings while hiking now, instead of looking at the ground and calculating my every foot placement. If my foot does slip out there isn’t shooting pain anymore. The leg that was operated on is actually my strong leg while skiing now. I refer my friends to Dr. Ellis now and can’t say enough good things.
