- I have a recommendation regarding placement of the IV. Initially, IV Wwa placed in my right wrist outside, however about 20 hours after surgery, there was a problem so another IV was put on my left outside wrist. Placement of the IV on either wrists presents a painful process for hip and/or knee replacement patients who need to use a walker to move around. Let’s take a close look at the wrist position on a walker and the pressure needed when using a walker. The pain was so bad when it was working with PT , I requested staff remove. Luckily, I was being discharged that morning. I have no suggestions where a better placement might be, but for recovery with a walker, outside wrist is too painful.

- I have a a amazing respect for Dr. Borus and all of his team members.The whole area of rebound is on the ball and know whats going on. I had a hip replacement and it went so unbelievably well.The care i received from the Dr. and team from beginning to end was the best. - This morning I had my first total knee replacement. At the age of 50 I have had over 16 surgeries of many different types and Dr. Todd Borus is by far the best surgeon I have ever had. He is not only extremely skilled and experienced but his kind mannerism truly goes above and beyond. He is very patient and never makes me feel rushed with my many questions. - Doc Boris is the BEST. This is my second knee replacement with him. I'm now in my second week getting through the initial healing phase. I'd advise not having both done at the same time. You can be much more prepared and know what to expect by waiting. Dr. Boris is extremely thorough. His team is quite responsive. The MAKO process is advanced but proven. He has used it for 15 years. I recommended the Doc to my neighbor and she's had excellent results as well. He is a perfect blend of experience and proficiency.

- I had a total right robotic knee replacement on Nov1st. After waking up from the surgery, I could bend my knee past 90 degrees and could straighten it fully. My pain level has been minimal with just the use of Tylenol. At two weeks after surgery I was walking with no aids and my knee bend was at 128 degrees. I am almost 4 weeks post surgery and could not be happier. It is so wonderful to be able to walk with no pain. Thank you Dr Borus.

- Dr. Borus is kind, honest, and humble. During my first hip replacement consultation with him, I waited only 5mins before he walked in. He started by showing me my MRI and X-ray results, explained to me that although there is space between my socket & ball on X-ray, MRI showed this space was filled with fluid, which means I was essentially bone-on-bone. No any other surgeons I visited explained this to me. He explained everything one step further than other providers which fits my personality since I am the type who wants to understand everything. For example, when I asked if I would need to be worried about surgery causing bone spur since it has happened to a friend, he told me bone spur is very rare and only happens to men. Other providers would simply say "no, you don't need to worry about it". I had a few additional questions after the in-person consultation, I called his team and thought his assistant would answer my questions. Instead, his team arranged for Dr. Borus to call me back, and I was very moved by such a caring customer service. In fact, Dr. Borus called me back twice. I like him as a doctor, and as a human being.

- My experience with Dr Borus and his team at Rebound was outstanding when I had my right hip replaced in June. Dr Borus was a great listener, patient and very kind to me. He understood how very active I was for my grand age of 77 and assured me that I would be able to return to the active lifestyle that I had been doing. The surgery went well, and I went home the same day and started PT in the office the very next day. After a few weeks, I was outside on the trail (short walks). By the 5th week I was doing a 5 mile hike. The team at Reboound was extremely organized and walked me thru every step of the way. I would highly recommend Dr Borus as your surgeon. - Dr. Borus has been quite helpful in two areas. He has performed my Left Total Knee Replacement with robotic assisted technology. The surgical outcome was perfect. He has been compassionate and caring throughout the whole process. The second area he has helped with and continues to help with is to improve the outcome of my right knee after a replacement performed by a different surgeon. Dr. Borus listens to concerns and offers suggestions. I can't be happier with his care the outcome of his work. We were able to come up with a plan and completed a revision that required scar tissue and replaced the plastic spacer. Just 24 hours out of surgery and there is considerable improvement . It’s nice to resolve an ongoing problem. Dr. Boris is great !!

My procedure went great and one week later I’m walking with almost no post op pain and on the road to regaining 1000% of the use of my knee for tennis, skiing, hiking and life. He uses the robot which I’m convinced results in a more precise fit and consistent outcome. I’m on the younger side and did a partial replacement before I had to give up all those things. After numerous knee surgeries over the past three decades, my knees were both beyond repair and needed total joint replacements. Arthritis, bone on bone conditions, chronic swelling, nagging pain and lack of mobility were affecting my daily life in a negative way. Dr. Borus replaced my first knee 3 years ago. He replaced my other knee couple of months ago. I owe Dr. Borus and his team great deal of gratitude for the level of professionalism and kindness they showed me during both surgeries. - Visited Dr. Borus for two bad hips. It became immediately obvious why he is so highly rated. He was an outstanding listener and asked excellent questions. He patiently guided me through my x-rays. In fact, in more depth than any other doc. Dr. Borus then presented an instructional video; he didn't just turn it on and leave, rather he elaborated and commented on finer points. He was amenable to discuss long term options and I feel I will be in good hands. Only downer, gotta wait 4 months for surgery once I commit. If you can, go to Legacy Salmon Creek. Much less hectic and crowded than Peace Southwest. And the staff seem, well, nicer!

- I had a total knee replacement with another doctor and it failed. With this knee I chose Dr Borus to do the replacement. He was wonderful!!!!!! I saw him on every visit not just a PA. - Had knee surgery not a knee replacement. Dr Borus had to remove half of the meniscus on both sides of the knee.In a previous review I had given him less than 5 stars due to the fact that after 10 weeks knee was still partially disabled and some pain.We are now 4+ months post surgery and doing much better. I'm at about 75% of full use and pain is almost gone. Considering I'm almost 70 I consider this a blessing.Thank you to Dr Todd Borus and his team.

Dr. Borus is an expert in the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Total Knee Replacement. I have recently had bilateral total knee replacements by Dr. Borus approximately three months ago. I couldn't be more thrilled with my new knees. Even though it does take approximately 1 year to recover, I am back at work after three months beginning part time and ramping up to full time in a month). - This total knee replacement is the second I have had done. The first was done about 5 years ago in Seattle. The comparison of the two procedures the first was quite primitives compared to Dr BORUS. Recovery time was much faster with Dr. BORUS and then mobility was quicker. If I had any more knees to do i would definitely contact Dr BORUS.

- My first appointment. When very well. The staff at Rebound was very professional and the office felt safe in this environment. X-rays well taken very quickly and my talk with Dr. Borus was productive. He explained my options clearly and I opted for surgery. Now I am waiting to get scheduled. Anxious and a little scared but I want to get back to my normal activity as soon as possible. Came to Dr. Borus at the recommendation if two friends.

- I had received a traditional knee replacement on my right knee 18 months prior to my first visit to Rebound which was still very painful. I was so impressed with Rebound’s streamlined process of determining the extent of damage to my left knee which was in very bad condition and I could barely walk. Meeting Dr. Borus was great as he asked lots of questions plus he really listened to me and explained the procedure so precisely. He truly showed care and concern while being totally professional and so nice! When I received my Robotic-Assisted Knee Transplant it was amazing! The immediate pain after surgery was about half of my previous replacement. Within 5 days the paIn was much reduced and I was able to move around pretty well and it was 1000% better than the right leg’s replacement recovery time. I was able to drive within 3.5 weeks as I only needed serious pain meds for 5 days! It’s just 3 months since surgery and I’m now walking better than I have in 10 years. - I only had an initial visit with Dr. Borus but he cane recommended to me so feel comfortable leaving a 5 star review after my initial meeting. He was personable, listened to my thoughts and desired outcome, gave me sound advice, and followed up personally with an email regarding my upcoming procedure. I’ll be getting a new hip in the next few months so will be able to apply more interactions into a follow up but as it stands now, I feel well taken care of and trust Todd to lead me to a painless and mobile future!

- I slipped on stairs. I broke both lower leg bones and dislocated my foot. Urgent care sent me home without setting my leg and I waited several days without so much as a prescription for pain relief as I waited for further medical help. Dr. Borus was extremely kind and I received excellent treatment the day of my appointment. I am recovering very well from the point of receiving treatment with Dr. Borus.

- I had my post knee replacement one year check up but it was 6 months overdue. I called at the one year anniversary asking for an appointment and was told I would get a letter which never came. So I called again at 16 months and got an appointment within 10 days. I had X-rays and Dr. Borus reviewed them with me. Everything looks great. Dr. Borus also gave me an idea of what to expect in 3-5 years with my prosthetic as well as reviewing X-rays of my other knee. I have 100% confidence in my care at Rebound although I have had some frustrations with the office communications.

- I was very impressed with the confidence of Dr Borus. Very calm, and matter of fact about all aspects of the surgery. The surgery went well and was pretty fast, I believe I was in and out of the surgery center in about 3 hours. Pain was manageable with very few pain pills. Rehab was just like Dr. Borus explained it to be. I was back to work in one month with one visit a week continued rehab visits to get full strength back into the knee over time to zero in on specific areas in the knee. I am very pleased with all aspects of the process with the only exception being... getting in to see Dr., and then rehab, as they are in such demand, they are booked out very far into the future.

- This was my first visit for a second opinion on a knee replacement. All staff were very courteous and professional. Dr. Borus spent extra time with me going over the Mako robotic arm assist for surgery. I felt very confident in his area of expertise. He gave me other options for physical therapy too. There wasn’t any pressure for immediate surgery.

- I saw Dr Boris on the first part on 2018. We talked about options. I decided to try injections in both knees first. It helped for a little while. I did end up having a total right knee replacement the end of October. It went well. I just had the left knee done yesterday - 7 months later. So far so good on that one too. Dr Borus is a great doctor. I highly recommend him.

- I had a left hip replacement 6 was ago. I’m so very pleased. No pain. Unbelievable that I put up with the pain for too many years when the few weeks of recuperating has been minor in comparison. - Dr. Borus is one of the the top Orthopedic Drs in the Northwest that performs the Mako knee replacement. With this robot the knee has a perfect fit for an individual’s leg. - I had my first appointment with Dr Borus for a total knee replacement. I was also having problems with my other knee that had been replaced 8 yrs ago by another Dr. I was put at ease immediately with Dr Borus's demeaner. - Dr. is an excellent surgeon. Dr. Borus was very patient in explaining the best solution was a total hip replacement. Dr. Borus performed the surgery in the AM and I was walking the same evening. Dr. Borus provides me with excellent pain management solutions for after surgery resulting in my having very little pain that lasted only a few minutes and only needed 3 pain tablets for my entire recovery period. I have almost no limitation on my activities, and far less pain than I expected after the first few weeks. - Dr. Borus is highly skilled, gives thorough explanations, answers all questions without rushing. Replaced right knee in 2017. One night in hospital. Pain never above 2 out of 10 with meds. No narcotics needed after day 10. Walker needed first 3 days. Then used trekking poles. Walked 1/2 mile comfortably by day 10. Began driving on day 12. Right hip replaced 2018. No narcotics needed. Pain 0-1 . Walker for 9 days. Drove after 2 weeks. Walking 2 miles/day by week 3. No home help needed
