- This is the second arthrogram I’ve had (the first being with a different provider at a different clinic), and this was by far the best experience. It was quick, painless, and John was informative, kind and personable. Also - shoutout to the ladies that facilitated my MRI. They were so caring and exceptionally patient. He is detail oriented, unbiased, and he took the time to understand my condition and offer alternative therapies starting from the most conservative one. - Unfortunately, I have been to see many Doctors in the last six months. All the other Doctors have done their job and were okay. DR. Kaforuni, is the exception. If there were 10 stars I would rate him 50. He has an exceptional bed side manner. He talked to me on my level. He answered all my questions. He was candid with his answers and opinions. He said my case is hard to evaluate to find the exact cause of my pain. He did not give up and was willing to keep trying, without my prompting, to try to find the cause. He surprised me by determining that I needed a shot in my hip. I was extremely hesitant and down right scared to get the shot. He took the time to explain why he needed to do the shot and he calmed my nerves. I am probably going to have to have additional care and shots and I only hope I can get on his schedule. - Dr. Kafrouni was very helpful. He is the first doctor I have visited who spent the time to show me what is really happening with my right hip. He was encouraging and laid out what I needed to do for recovery or improvement. I have been dealing with this issue for almost ten years and have gotten no real honesty until now. - I have seen Dr Kafroni for over 20 years. First shortly after cervical surgery when nerve compression symptoms were markedly reduced but persisted. Over time I had several periods of extreme exacerbation of pain and signs of new symptoms consistent with nerve compression. These symptoms resulted in another surgery. Over the past 10 years I have continued to see Dr Kafroni on an intermittent basis to evaluate my cervical status so as to pick up any recurrence of nerve compression early. - Dr Kafrouni has performed injections in my shoulders and my knees. But I am now unable to undergo any surgery to more permanently resolve my issues due to other health concerns. BMost recently he performed a nerve block on my left shoulder, to alleviate extreme pain I was experiencing that was beyond the ability of the previous shots to control. Dr Kafrouni is great! He’s compassionate (underneath gruffness and humor), excellent in his craft, and looks for potential solutions to consider going forward. I have always had good results from his procedures. - Dr. Kafrouni performed an Arthrogram for my shoulder. He was careful to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible while completing the injection swiftly and deftly. The assisting nurses were also helpful and supportive. The team had a friendly energy to it, which made me feel safe and secure. The registration staff also worked tirelessly to get me checked in as quickly as possible, despite the long line that suddenly seemed to form at check-in. I later realized that I had been late to my appointment and I am ever thankful to the registration staff and the medical staff. Nobody told me that I was late. I was checked in without complications. They juggled the schedule somehow which allowed me to still get my scan done. Thank you!

Additionally, he provided detailed verbal and written information on a possible alternative treatment... EPAT/ESWT. I forwarded this written pamphlet to my Axonics neuro sacral stimulator implant representative. While Axonics recommended this shock wave therapy was not advisable for me, the rep forwarded information to they technical department for research. He communicates with me in layman’s terms, and is down to earth. He is the only doctor I’ve ever had who makes me feel like we are a partnership and never rushes me out the door. He ordered me an MRI after 5 years of doctors guessing and telling me I have Bursitis and Tendonitis, and just need to ice and take NSAIDs. He sent me for an MRI and we learned about all the issues that are causing my pain. Im not a number to him and he is completely present during our conversations. He continues to seek answers to help me with 5 different issues with my ankle. He is the first doctor to give me hope that maybe my someday my foot will function properly again. - I have been a patient of Rebound for over a decade. I was referred to Dr Le by Dr Robert Goodwin for a fusion of L4 and L5. Several years later Dr Le referred be to Dr Kafouri for an injection to treat new symptoms. In 2022 Dr Coale performed carpal tunnel surgery and results were again excellent. In February of 2023 I injured my shoulder while on vacation and was misdiagnosed by my primary care physician. No images or ultra sound were performed. I reconnect with Dr Kafouri yesterday and after a brief visit and ultra sound he showed me the torn rotator cuff. He the schedule 2 MRI and an appointment with a. Shoulder surgeon. The second MRI is for a new lower back issue. These guys are great and that is why I travel from Lake Oswego to where they are. One very satisfied patient.

They kept coming in checking on me make sure I was OK if I needed anything that I was next in line to go in and have my injections in my neck. Of course I was very nervous but they helped me with that when I got to the room For the procedure. Even in there they were so so nice I could say it over and over it’s just I’ve always treated very well. When I didn’t understand or needed him to expound on something he did so happily. I did not feel like he was watching the clock despite the fact that I’m positive he is quite busy with a full/robust schedule. - I having been searching for a diagnosis for neck related pain for nearly 2 years. Dr. Kafrouni diagnosed my issue at the first visit with him. He made a recommendation for a few types of treatments and made me aware of the risks and rewards for them. We decided which route to take at my first visit. I was scheduled for my procedure within 7 days. I would highly recommend Dr. Kafrouni for his knowledge, for his ability to communicate effectively and ability to build rapport.

- Dr. Kafrouni performed a procedure on my hips. He is the first doctor to give me complete pain relief with this procedure. He explained everything he was doing and seeing on the ultrasound. - I came to Rebound for a 2nd Opinion on a Disc Replacement Surgery that was said was “needed” from a jet boat accident I was in a year ago. My first opinion said without question that I would need to have a full disc replacement in order to relieve my pain. At 25 years old, surgery on my spine came as quite a shock as why I thought it was important to get a 2nd opinion. Dr. Kafrouni was extremely honest about his opinion to hold off on surgery until we exhausted all conservative options which immediately made more sense to me and relieved a lot of fear I had about getting surgery on my spine. Not only was he open to answering all my questions but he was also very real with me about why it would be important to try more conservative methods first. Long story short, the disc that the other surgeon wanted to me to replace was not even the source of my pain and most discs heal on their own over time. You could say I’m more than frustrated with the other surgeon but very thankful to have met with someone whose priority is to heal patients rather than just get another surgery under their belt. A big thank you to Dr. Kafrouni for his honesty, professionalism and integrity. I will now be following up with him as I try to heal my pain and fully trust the hands he puts me in whether surgery is necessary down the road or not. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

- Dr kafrouni I and dr modha are both great. I had c-4 c-5 INF U SION AND I HAD BACK SURGERY AND THEN THEY WENT IN AND SCRAPED MY DISCS NOTHING SEAMS TO WORK BUT DR. KAFROUNI NEVER GIVES UP. IM GOIN H IM FOR SHOTS IN MY NECK AND NOW IM HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY KNEE AND TALKED TO DR. KAFROUNI AT MY APPT. AND HE IS TAKING CARE OF MY KNEE THE SAME TIME AS MY NECK. I TOTALLY TRUST DR. KAFROUNI,and Dr. Modha They are both great drs and they listen to you. Now I have shots in my neck my knee my back and my shoulder. UPDATE 8/13/2024. I have had c6-c7 in my neck infusion, today there's not a lot they can do in my back except shots, soi had s hot in my back, a couple months ago I've had knee shot. Earlier this month neck shot the one in my neck didn't work so might have to do surgery again.

- Dr Kafrouni understood me as a life long athlete, did a good medical history and ordered the right confirmatory tests. He confirmed his initial diagnosis and showed me the MRI confirmation. He asked me what I wanted to do and why I made those choices. He then, at my request, treated the symptoms (leg pain, pelvis issues), allowing me to compete for the following season, and recommended that I talk to a neurosurgeon when the symptoms returned and increased in severity. Without his sympathetic and knowledgeable care I'd likely have retired from competition that year.
